Strawberry-Lemon Mojito

The Ingredients (for 2 drinks)
 
  • 4 lemon wedges
  • 12 mint leaves, plus 2 mint sprigs, for garnish (optional)
  • 2 strawberries, plus 1 halved strawberry, for garnish
  • Ice cubes
  • 4 ounces gold or aged rum
  • 1 1/2 ounces fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ounces prepared sugarcane syrup or agave nectar

The Method

In a cocktail shaker, muddle the lemon wedges with the whole strawberries and mint leaves. Add ice and the rum, lemon juice and sugarcane syrup; shake well. Strain into crushed ice–filled highball glasses. Garnish with the berry halves and mint sprigs.

Sunset Punch

The Ingredients (for two)
 
  • 2 ounces bourbon
  • 2 ounces white vermouth
  • 30ml fresh lemon juice, plus lemon slices for garnish
  • 20ml simple syrup
  • 100ml chilled ginger beer

The Method

In a large glass, combine the bourbon, vermouth, lemon juice and syrup. Add the ginger beer and lemon slices. Split into two cocktail glasses and serve over ice.

Raspberry Vodka Ginger Beer Fizz

The Ingredients (for one)

 

  • 300ml ginger beer
  • 10 raspberries
  • 30ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 60ml vodka
  • ice

The Method

Muddle raspberries and lemon juice together in a cocktail shaker. Add a couple of ice cubes and shake well. Strain into a glass and top off with ginger beer.

Tequila Sunrise

The Ingredients (for one)

  • 60ml tequila
  • 120 ounces orange juice
  • 15ml grenadine
  • Garnish: orange slice
  • Garnish: maraschino cherry
  • ice cubes

The Method

In a tall glass filled with ice cubes, pour the tequila and orange juice and stir well.

Next, slowly pour the grenadine around the inside edge of the glass. It will sink and gradually rise to mix with the other ingredients.

Finally, garnish with an orange slice and cherry.

Gin Bramble

The Ingredients

  • 60ml gin
  • 25ml fresh lime juice
  • 20ml simple syrup
  • 20ml crème de mûre
  • Garnish: a slice of lime 
  • Garnish: 2 blackberries 
  • ice cubes and crushed ice

The Method

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour the gin, lime juice, and simple syrup, and shake well. Strain over crushed ice in a medium sized glass. Finally, Drizzle the cremé de mûre on top and garnish with a lime slice and two blackberries.
