Creditsafe strengthens senior management team with new appointments

New Chief Technology Officer joins from rival Dun & Bradstreet New Chief Sales and Marketing Officer role filled

Creditsafe, the South Wales based business intelligence experts, have announced two new senior appointments as they re-shape their senior management team following an internal strategic leadership review that also led to the creation of a new Chief Sales and Marketing Officer role. Following an exhaustive search they have appointed Scott McConnell to that new position while John Seery joins as Chief Technology Officer from Creditsafe’s rivals Dun & Bradstreet.

John Seery joins Creditsafe as Chief Technology Officer

Seery who took up his position in May was most recently VP Engineering for D&B having spent the last nine years with the company in a variety of senior roles in both Ireland and the USA. His focus there was on customer facing applications and software and its IT engineering strategy and architecture. He also re-engineered data delivery via cloud-based API systems and will be responsible for developing and maintaining Creditsafe’s global IT infrastructure which holds information on more than 330 million companies and delivers in excess of 220 million company credit reports to more than 500,000 users around the world every year.

McConnell has more than 20 years senior sales experience in the digital space and joins Creditsafe from Equinix the world’s largest data centre and colocation provider where he was Sales Director. In his newly created role he will be responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing and will be implementing a fully integrated strategy where he will bringing his experience to bear in developing even deeper relationships with the company’s large scale international clients.
